Lazzaretti Rosso di Montalcino | Tuscany, Italy | Sangiovese.

Tasting notes:
“Lots of tannins and fruity notes, still need time to soften”. Well, this was the first impression when the wine was uncorked. So, while enjoying other wines, we let the Rosso breathe for 30 min. After a while, it started to approach us with berries notes such as black cherries, blackberries, blueberries along with violets and vanilla notes. Quite enjoyable! Fantastico!
Food pairing: Grilled Pork Loin in honey mustard sauce (it brings out the sweetness and melt in your mouth). Guaranteed! haha

We had Rosso a night before Brunello di Montalcino Masterclass event, as a wine pairing along with great dinner and awesome people.
